Sidecocker OTFs- New Old Stock

Post by orangeboy »

Here are some knives you don’t find every day...or ever. 3 mint unused NOS rare side cocking OTFs. I found these a couple years ago and they were purchased from a closed Gun store in Northern Italy long ago.

I’ll take some more photos of the side cocking mechanism. My friend Lance71 came up with the term “side cockers” and it so funny it had to stick. So forever I’m calling them side cockers, lol

You lift up the sidecocker mechanism just a little bit and then push the button and the blade falls back into the handle 90% of the way. Then you lift up the sidecocker all the way and it reseats the blade completely and then once you fold down the sidecocker mechanism it’s ready to fire.

Hi Charlie, thanks for posting the photos of the side cocking mechanism lever. It would’ve been great to take a look under the top scale to see what’s going on with the lever when it’s deployed.
Thanks again,
John

Hi Ken,
Thanks for giving us a peek under the scale. Now, I’m even more curious as to what is going on under the two rocker arms. I’m guessing it’s something similar to a modern OTF.
Thanks again,
John
