Here’s an amazing set of flat guards made with brass instead of nickel silver from roughly the WW2 era. Included is the period correct 2 foot Display piece I found a few years back.

No, those are from the same era so they just happened to be in the picture. In fact that mint 11” I sold to a friend in South Florida. That one is quite possibly the most mint 11” flat guard in existence.boblees812 wrote:Very nice set Charley. Like those wasp body .. The two on the right are brass?
