MAURO MARIO
Hi there everyone, I'm new here but an avid collector of Italian auto's. Could someone tell if Mauro Mario ever used Rams Horn on his Knives's? I purchased an 8" picklock recently, but looks like the scales may have been either replaced or removed and put back.
Thanks Dave.
Thanks Dave.

I'm pretty sure that "Italian Stiletto's" says they started using ram horn in '57 or '58 but don't have my copy here at work..

Even if there were originals with whatver scale type, it doesn't mean your particular knife is not a rescale. Can you post pics that show the questionable aspects?
Re: MAURO MARIO
Some of these are Mauro Mario's . I don't think they have been rescaled. Actually I think all are, some have been stamped with the person or person's that ordered them.

Those definitely look like original ram's horn MMs.
Re: MAURO MARIO
Awesome collection. All the Ram's horn pictured are great examples. I wouldn't care if they were rescaled. They are beautiful.
Thanks for sharing the pics and welcome to TB.

Re: MAURO MARIO
The nine knives are beauties. Ram is one of my favorite scale materials. I really like the color and texture on your knives.
The two you’re repairing, what’s in need of fixing? General cleaning or something else?

Bummer! I'm sure I'm not the only that would like to see your work. Do you restore the knives or just make them work properly again? That pic you posted looked like they had definitely seen better days.
