Latama wasp
Hello just wondering how much a latama wasp sell for on average, not much out there on price ?
Re: Latama wasp
Depending upon condition, a Latama Wasp can fetch $700+ on auction. If it is a flat guard in minty condition, it can sell for even more. Can you post photos? I am assuming you have one that you are looking to sell?

Ahh Okay, I was thinking your inquiry could go either way.
Yeah, I think we are all dreaming of owning one.
Good luck with your search!
Cheers,

Re: Latama wasp
I was offered a 5 inch wasp flatguard latama for 500 at the gator show, seemed more than reasonable, just wasn't crazy about the condition. Not that it was especially bad (this is a 70+year old knife, of course..) but I like my stuff looking a little newer i guess
Knee-deep in the hoopla...

Yeah that’s the thing with me condition if not good just bugs me I’d rather wait for something better and pay the money, I don’t think I’m gonna have much luck here in England finding decent switchblades I’ve rang around and no joy.

Old knives often come with old problems.
Bugbites, broken springs ,sharpened blades, worn sear holes and bladepeak.
Take a look at the newer Walts Latamas and AGAs ,Frank Beltrames etc.Verygood build quality ,D stamps fine horn etc with almost no problems.
It isn't easy for us in Britain to buy knives but I have PMd you a few ways I used to assemble my knives.
Maybe some people here will help you out and there is the buy and sell here.
.Many brit collectors have been collecting for a long while and acquired decent collections but may not sell as they are harder to come by ,also things are getting a bit risky at present.
There are a few of us on Sharper deals forum but I dont know them all myself as yet.
Stick around, see what you really like and when collecting its patience that is needed ,especially if its Latamas .Also you can ,meet some brilliant members and freinds here whilst you are waiting and see how you go.....thats what I did in 2015 and still tuning in now.
Good luck mate.
