S.M. Co Italy
I think I finally got a knife that is worth sending to Bill. It is a 9” S.M. Co Italy with a broken lock pin. (Edit. Thank you for the correction Bill)
What do you think ?

He can make it look like a new one. He recently posted pics of an 11" kris's he worked on and it looked like a new knife.

Hey Chris, guess you saw those two also ... I passed on the other one… The horn just wasn’t as nice.
Re: S.M. Co Italy
Cool find! It looks like a very tight, straight, well-made knife. I bet it'll clean up beautifully.
Forgive my ignorance, but how do you repair a missing locking pin? Drill the tang and solder-in a new one? Seems like tricky repair to dial-in.

Lock pin- not lock tab!
Drill, turn a pin down to fit, hard solder it in the hole, then do final fitting.
