Spanish leverlock shellpuller

Post by gravknife »

Hello to everybody here.

I havn't bought anything for a long time but still follow the old buying places and keep my eye out for interesting pieces.

I came across this Spanish shellpuller and was wondering if its an orihinal design or a mangle.I have seen spanish shellpullers of usual form but not with the pullers where the bottom bolster should be as on early German and French leverlocks.

It looks right to me and sold well enough but has anyone got one or seen this style before?

I think its interesting and a good looking knife.
I couldnt afford it in the end but I am dying to buy a knife and in cold turkey at present. :)

I hope you are all well and atleast I am still enjoying your knives so keep posting.those pictures.

I've never seen one with pullers on the bottom, sure is different.

I think it is an original Spanish Toledo, but a scarce model.

From the looks of the pullers it's a solid knife. Pretty much needless anymore unless your shotgun has a broken ejector.
