The best 9" Black Acrylic I own is a cheap one it locks open with the same amount of play as my Microtech, [not all of them are this good but no real bad ones].
The 11" are also good - excellent.
The 13" seem to vary the most some have been GREAT some haven't but no really bad ones.
You get what you pay for but frequently with the cheap ones you get a little more than you expect.

The new German switchblade law was partly in response to a killing with an OTF. The lowlife used a "Secret Agent" OTF. I'm amazed it was strong enough to kill anything.
Typical German reaction "Klotzen nicht Kleckern". [rough to translate but
approximately "Hit it, don't poke it"] in other words overdo it.

Mr. Vagrant,

Unbelievable!
If I was going to commit "Death by Switchblade," a Secret Agent OTF would be the LAST thing in all of my switchblade collection that I would consider using! As cheap and shabbily-made as it is, you wouldn't think it would be capable of stabbing warm cocka, let alone killing someone.

To make the story even more strange the victim's last name was Messer which means Knife in German. She was only 12 years old so the Germans reacted with both speed and emotion. When Germans get emotional it is not pretty. Their usual logic goes "out the window". The logical thing to do would be to execute the asshole that did the killing, but like most of Europe Germany is too "civilised" to have the death penalty.
Once you think that feeding, clothing, sheltering, and caring for murderers
is "civilised" you logic is seriously defective.

Vagrant,

Their new switchblade law is another good example of seriously defective logic.

Mr. Vagrant,

That word, Emotion, speaks volumes. Look what happened in Australia with the guns. Maybe our new-old found friend, Dick, could elaborate on that one.

Best Regard's,

All he has to do is tell us how much the crime rate has increased. I know
Merry? Olde England now leads the U.S. in most crimes since they out-lawed pistols. Ironically London's murder by handgun rate is up over 25%
SINCE they were outlawed. If it keeps increasing at this rate they will surpass the U.S. in almost the only crime they still trail it.
It may not makes sense to some people but the truth is eery place that has outlawed guns has exprienced an INCREASE in crime.
The highest suicide rate in the world changes from year to year but the
"prize" always goes to a country with strict gun control.
