The picklock is made by the same person as most of the vintage picklocks you see. The Kerper stamp is pretty rare. It seems like most of the ones I've seen (which is only a few) had MII on the front and Kerper on the back. I don't know anything about Kerper; I assume that was just the importer and/or seller.

The bids on that one are going to go through the roof if it stays up.

Thanks Chris for supplying the link. I wish I had the money to get it, I would like an 11" picklock to add to my collection. Some day maybe.

I say that picklock will go for $385.00

I had a bid on that early on. Seems like a realistic price would have been around $300.

I've never sold a knife before but I'm seriously considering trying to auction off some of my lower end stuff...

The blade peek on that one isn't that bad. A little adjustment and it would sit really well. The real issue with that one is the shape of the blade. Pass on any that look like that.

Jeremy...is that the flat top button you've mentioned in the past that uses the zinc rockers that don't last? You recommended that completely round button, not flat topped?

Yes, that is correct. That one has a zinc rocker. It's actually on the 10.5" Batwings that I recommend trying to find the round button/steel rocker ones.

The thing about the 9"s is that the flat top/zinc ones are actually the better knives, other than the rocker. The 9" steel rockers are the really thin/flimsy ones.
