Leather inside the pocket sheath

Post by Jrarbogast »

Hey all, I tend to carry a few of my stilettos believe it or not and I do some custom leather work and thought about making a few sheaths. They will be like an inside the pocket holster for a small frame semi auto handgun but for a stiletto. If there is any interest, I will make a small batch and let the first ones go at $5 each plus the shipping of course. So I'm not doing it to make anything but get back what the leather cost and share it with everyone who is interested. I will post pics this weekend when I'm done but wanted to get a head count kinda as I can make a pattern and do them all at once. Thanks.

Ok thanks. I am starting on them for ones who have requested and anymore that would like one please bare with me. This is enough to keep me busy for a while.. I should have a picture up tonight of a completed one. They will be $5 as I told you and $5 for the shipping to cover postage and packaging. The next batch will be a few bucks more but not much. Leather prices vary...

Have four done so far. It will fit either a 9 or 11 inch.. Made for tip up carry as the bottom of sheath is opened up more to allow room for bolster but tip down carry works as well with no issue..Here is one:

That's a great idea John. Maybe see how it's held. Can't help but to wonder why it's so wide and no pocket clip(?). I'm thinking it's meant for back pocket carry?

I will post picture with my 11 inch. They are meant, at least in my mind, to be carried in the front pocket. All of us that have carried one in the pocket knows the knife ends up moving around a lot and turning or ends up laying sideways at the bottom of the pocket. Just feels awkward and difficult to pull out. So the sheath was meant to hopefully make that go away and keep the knife in place while in your pocket. Like a pocket holster for small caliber handgun. I have carried one all day and really like it.

As far as price, I wasn't in this to make any money and basically sell then for what it costs to make and ship. However, when this leather shoulder I'm using is gone, I will have to bump it a few bucks as the price of my leather has gone up.

Anyway, for you that already wanted one, your good. I will send out paypal info soon but after I get them all done. I will ship at one time. Thanks everyone and I hope you like them.
