Restoration knife picklock 37.5 cm
hello to all guys ... in the end I got it too 'cause I paid about 30 dollars ... let's say not in good condition, but this I already knew from the photos .... release blade broken blade and spring blocks blade that stays high, a little chipped chipped on one side and rust ..... place some photos, which I shot as best I could as promised ... do you think it is better to restore it? or you should leave it as it is, so in the end I spent 30 dollars ... but I liked it too much, more than anything else for the size of the knife I have not often seen around ..... thanks to everyone ... Greetings from Italy...

Looks like a 1960s picklock stiletto. It will cleanse up fairly easy. The lock plate has a little bend that will need to be fixed and bent back straight.
Does the blade have a makers stamp?

Ciao Still77,
Cool vintage stiletto! If it were mine, I’d restore it myself.
It’s your call to restore or not. But, since you asked I’d restore it.
Con amicizia,
John

That has a one-piece spring, right? It seems like all the ones I've seen had one-pieces but it's hard to tell in that pic.

hi this knife is a 1960's picklock made by Angelo Campolin sr. (i have one just like it) . bill this is definetly NOT a 1990's Falcon knife.
2004 and 2005 were first years that we re-made 15" and 18" picklocks . up untill 2004 when me and AGA made them 15" picklocks had not been made since 1960's .

Correct-it is a picklock. I didn't see that.
I don't know when Falcon went to swivel bolsters, but it could be later than 1960s. In the 60s they were generally still using nickel silver bolsters. These appear to be steel.

so you think its possible 15" picklocks may have been made into early 1970's ? 15" picklock i have has the M.Italy inox in a oval stamp but its same knife as this one .Bill DeShivs wrote:Correct-it is a picklock. I didn't see that.
