Side to side play

Post by Jrarbogast »

I have an SKM that had a tad more side to side blade play than others I have seen. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Peen the pin down maybe?

Thanks

Peen very carefully! It's hard to get the blade tight, and still let the swivel bolster move.

Easy does it. It’s easy to over do it; I’ve done it mort than once. I had to use a razor blade or two to loosen it up.
