Hello,
I found a vintage DELCIMA MANIAGO folding knife. I don't know anything about knifes. Could anyone tell me what it's worth ?
I am curious to know. The DELCIMA MANIAGO brand seems to have disappeared.
Please see photos attached.
Many thanks,
Zarathoustra

Hi Zarathustra,
I honestly don’t believe your knife is worth a whole lot $50 perhaps. Maybe a little more maybe a little less. It appears to be a typical five blade knife, nice wood scales the fit and finish looks awesome. The stamp on the knife is most likely made up of three words the first one beginning with the DEL, the second word beginning with CI and the last word beginning with MA is definitely Maniago. The first two words are typically be makers name or a partnership or a combination of names.
I’m sure there are other collectors here that know much more about folders that I do.
By the way very nice knife.
John
PS Could you take another photo showing the blades, thank you.

Oops! I was dictating to my phone. It just doesn’t understand my Boston accent. Almost every time I say the word knife it comes out as life. It’s so annoying!
My sincerest apologies everyone’s life is priceless.

Hello,
Many thanks for your explanations, here are photos of the open knife and close up of the stamp.
I look forward to your further explanations. It is actually horn, not wood.
Take care,
zarathoustra
