knives value
Value of 50's Latama 11" horn stiletto with badly sharpened/ground blade? Value of my 60's 11" horn Inox stiletto (the one Bill repaired)?
Re: knives value
Hi Scott...I've read that sharpening a switchblade is one of, if not the, worst thing one can do. I understand it decreases the value drastically.

Re: knives value
Chris I agree with you, I would love to have a Walts/ Latama (too much money for my wallet). The knife mentioned they want $500.00.
Re: knives value
Stupid question, what knives does that apply to? I know like Latama/Walts and collectors and so on, what others?Frank B modern?
Re: knives value
...I'm fairly sure that would apply to any. I've seen some beautiful, vintage knives that appeared loved and in brand new condition. Then, others, where the blade was sharpened down to an ice pick. Though, I'm sure, that in the 1950's when the owner bought the knife for $10, they never considered the item would be as valuable as it is today.Scotchman wrote:Stupid question, what knives does that apply to? Re: knives value
I want to make sure that I don't make the same mistake.
Re: knives value
Also I am hoping someone could tell me what my 60's knife would be worth if I decided to sell it.
