Books on switchblades

Post by arlen »

Please recommend a list of books to find and read on the subject of collectible switchblades.
No problem if they are out of print or hard to find.
Regards,

Because it's in an email I only have to send, tricky to post here. Also I send forum links, shipping hints (verboten here), switch designs. It's really 4 emails I have sent to hundreds of people. Plus I am posting this response from a Kindle, I need to access Outlook on my desk PC. I make this same offer via Facebook, to anyone who wants it.

Whoa, what about that trail blazing tome, "Switchblade: The Ace of Blades" by Ragnar Benson, published in 1989??? The 2004 updated edition is already an expensive collectors' item being out of print.

Before anyone rushes out to pick one of these up, the 1989 was a real POS. Don't know if the 2004 is any better, but basing the new edition on this very shaky foundation is not at all comforting. I only bring this up as a heads up to those building a library. There are much better uses for your $$.

There's a few more on my list than the website, including Ragnar's epic and Vito Quattracochi's.
