I've been a Microtech OTF collector on and off since the mid-'90s and I have a few of the Vespa clones. The latest ones, like that CT clone, are getting very close in quality to the originals, particularly their mill work, blade grinds and satin finishes, but the anodizing still has a ways to go. The earlier Vespas had too much blade slop for my tastes, but they've improved markedly with this run of CTs. Andy Xu also makes some very high quality MT clones and original OTF designs. I actually prefer them to the Vespas, but both provide excellent bang-for-the-buck.
