Not seen you posting in a while mate....glad you are okay.

Is this switchblade knife from France?
There were french knifemaker /distributors named fontenille pataud ..FP operating from 1893 to the present day .
I cant find any switchblades by them when googled though so I am probably wrong.
Hope you find out the maker and again good to see you on here

Hi Jeremy,
Good to hear from ya.
About a 4.75 inch blade and just under a 6 inch handle. I think Ian might be on to something.

Hi Ian,
Every thing is OK! Thanks for asking. Just got sidetrack with life ;0) work, projects ect.

YES it is from France! I did not know they copied the Italian, or maybe imported it from Italy and had there own stamp put on it.
anyway sounds like you hit the nail on the head.
Thanks for the info! I will have to look up fontenille pataud.
Thanks again. Ross
