I have yet to see one. (Sometimes I think that they are made from "Unobtationum").

Unfortunately, this site seems to focus only on Italian knives. (There are more from the USA, Germany, China, and other places).

Sad isn't it?

I'm so glad you found it. I hadn't seen it. I guess that they used 440A steel for a reason (I wouldn't know what that is, but it is their decision). Were it my project, I would have insisted on a minimum of 440C stainless steel hardened to 58-59 HRc. But that's just me. Be gratified that it is covered by Colonial's Lifetime Warranty. (They're really good about taking care of their customers).

Useful, practical, made in the US of A, and "cool". (There isn't a thing wrong with that)! 8)

Somehow, I'm not sure about the "made in USA."
I have not seen one of these knives, though I was asked to design an OTF for Colonial.

The last time I heard about the knife it had been said that it resembled the Taiwanese Lightning OTF. I can see where someone could get this impression. It may be made from Taiwanese parts and assembled in the US of A. (a distinct possibility).

Who knows?
