Thanks for the link mick17. The first run had several unsatisfied customers for various reasons. Main complaint being the opening snap was weak. Hopefully things have greatly improved all around.

Thank you.....firing is good for a 13. Lock up is good. The only complaint is that it has a tiny little bit of so called banana blade. It doesn't bother me but like to hear your opinion. The horn is georgeous.

Beautiful. I love the fit and finish. The horn is impressive. I prefer a clip point blade but this particular knife appears to be particularly well made.

Nicely done.

I was nine years old when i saw a switchblade for the very first time and had a crush for them eversince. In this movie,viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14846&p=252959&hilit=tintin#p252959. I was going to that movie over and over again just to see that knife. Later I learned that it was a transitional stiletto. This one comes pretty close.

That's some nice horn on the example you bought. 8)

These badboys are looking just as good to my eyes as the transitionals you mentioned as your reason for liking and getting involved into switchblades in The first place
The upside on these is that most transitionals i have ,they have been around nearly 40 plus years and bear the scars of life...these are new and can be looked after and stored properly for the next generation of collectors to awe at.

Congratulations on that beauty

All the best

I saw one of your trannies and it looked good. Scars can just add something extra. For a guitar they call that mojo.

Were the 2003 run specs the same, apart from the horn used? I saw a youtube movie about them and they looked great and seem to open fast.
