Knife ID Please Now finally with pics

I crossed the border in the mid 80's and bought a stag handled side opening switchblade in Tijuana, Mexico. The only marking on it is Rostfrei, and I know that means stainless. It is 4 1/2" closed and 8" open and is a leverlock. It has a spearpoint blade very similar to the Hubertus knife, but with rounded bolsters, no nail nick, and no cut out in the stag handles. It seems to be a very well made, quality knife. It also fires very hard and locks up with no play in any direction.
I have always wondered who made this knife and would appreciate information on it.
I am very computer challenged, but I can text pictures to your phone.

I think that most of the mexican leverlock knives i have seen have been the bullfighter types with clipoint blades.
There are other types but i can't find any spearpoint blade pictures but there will be examples somewhere.

I have no mexican knives and know little about them but i found you some pictures for comparison.
I hope that there is one similar to yours amongst them.

A picture of your knife would help a great deal.
If you have a phone you can take a picture of the knife with that......then press the attachments and then the Add files.
You can then upload the picture from your gallery /photos as long as its smaller than 1mb .

My knife doesn't look like any of the above. And I just can't figure out the picture thing. I despise computers on a very regular basis.

What you have is an Italian leverlock- a nice one.
It was Made by Massaro in Maniago, Italy.

But why no maker's name ?

That is a nice one,never see one w brass bolsters before,dont no why it has no makers mark.my guess would be that it was a export knife,made by the hundreds.no one knew who massaro was.

The Italian makers don't generally mark knives because they all sell each other's merchandise.
