Info on switch blade knife

Post by Againes »

I have a switchblade knife that has a outline face on the bottom of the switchblade that says that the brand of the knife is Orthello Rosteri. When I did the research on the knife all I got was that the face was connected with a Nazi Hitler switchblade does anyone have any information that they can provide me about this knife. Thank you so much

Againes

Othello is usually a mark used by Anton Wingen of Germany .

It would be better if we had a picture of the knife als most Wingen othello stamps were on older leverlock knives and maybe some italian made lleverlocks were marked othello head and rostfrei

lI think that the german swivel bolster switchblades that had this mark were actually made in italy for the german market.
They can be marked with kissing cranes ,branner and other marks.
As i said we need to see what you have .I know posting pictures is difficult

welcome anyway and look forward to seeing the knife so we can help more.

If you can't spell it, you can't look it up! Othello. Rostfrei means stainless.

BTW- there were no "Hitler Nazi switchblades."
As mentioned, pictures are the only way we can help you further.
