Question for Bill DeShivs

Post by Jeffinn »

Hi Bill,
I keep seeing Leverlettos in some of the online auctions. I know there's some replicas out there. Is there an easy way to determine whether it's a real or whether it's a copy?
Thanks.

Real Leverlettos never have a hex screw on the lever spring.
Just post pictures or links and I'll be happy yo validate them.

There's one posted in the SD auction with a weak spring. It's been posted previously. Seems like a decent deal though I'm not sure about the weak spring. Here's the link: http://www.sharperdeals.net/index.php?m ... sold-as-is
Thanks.

Bladeplay has leverletto's at a decent price, unless you plan on fixing one.

Thanks Sammy!
I see that Mikov also has Leverletto kits on their site which are fairly reasonable. By the time I win the auction and pay the shipping I could probably by a new one that works perfectly from some other source.

prepare to fix more than the spring if you're talking about the one on talkblade... that snakewood has a 97.46% chance of cracking when you pull those pins out..

Just the bottom bolster pin needs to come out and the backspring can be pivoted out to pull the spring stub out.
