Here are a few custom knife makers in the U.S.A whose stilettos l particularly like :) :
1) Paul Panak
2) Picklock Pat Havlin
3) Arlin Slo Jo Walker
Mr. Panak runs ( or ran ? ) Burn Knives and l have one of his Italian Style Picklocks in 440c. Great stuff.
Mr. Havlin's Picklocks are some of the best l have ever seen. I have one in O-1 tool steel , which is extremely rare.
I don't know if these two makers are still in Business since l live in Austria and l purchased these knives second hand from a fellow collector a few weeks back .
I have no experience with Arlin Slo Jo Walker's stilettos but l once handled one of his blades which my friend owned back when l visited Alabama in 2015

Thank you!

I think you're the first to mention the Hendrix quote.
