Not too vintage. Middle eastern (probably Pakistani) lock back release auto.
It actually looks like a newly made copy of the above.

I own one of these its,got a write up in richard langstons book collectors guid to switchblade knives.pg 206.

I believe Langston states that it is a Civil War knife or something. It's nothing of the sort.

Yeah langston said it was made in 1895 or something like that,.i dont necessarily agree w him he also says he saw one offered for sale for 2500.
I would agree w bill it. Looks to be something from india or perhaps middle eastern (pakastani).i own one,its not the best buid quality.its got a leaf spring.the mech.is on the spine.
