got my first switchblade and im clueless.
just ordered 2 switchblades from AB, and im having some trouble.
my biggest problem is closing the knives. is the lock supposed to be really hard to lift to free the blade? am i doing it wrong?
also on one of the knives the safety slide is VERY hard to push. i think this will eventually losen up, but lifting the lock is difficult on both knives.
am i just a pansy-boy?
thnx

Hey don't worry about the safety slide it'll break in after a while. Anyhow about the locking problem, this crappy image I made has sloved many peoples problems
Anyhow if you can understand that it should slove your problem, but make abloustey sure that the pin is to wide or something so it can't fit into the locking hole. (I hope your talking about a stilleto). And also push down on the bolster to release it this image should help you (if it's more then a four inch model, four inches open)
BTW: I edited this just after Bonzo aka Defous etc.. said soooooo.....

Mr. vinithehat,
If you push down on the bolster finger guard on the button side, the blade will come loose and you can close your knife. Yes, you were doing it wrong, but forgiveness is a virtue. As for the sliding safety, just play with it for a while, it should loosen a little. Are you a pansy boy? Only if you wear your sisters underwear. (get tough or we tell mommy on you)
Best Regards,
Bonz

Sammy should be ashamed of himself for bringing up these old non PC threads. It may trigger wokeism and hurt feelings...lol
