Buck 110 Conversion

Post by Jay Blade »

Just thought I'd share some pictures of this Buck 110 automatic conversion. I bought it from the same guy I picked up my Limited AB Demascus knife in my other post. They did a great job on this Imo. The firing button is flush, won't fire off accidentally & it springs into action quickly with a nice snap!

You have been real busy with the knives lately. I love the 110. Had one in high school and I still have it today. This conversion looks real sleek, almost factory.

Thats a real good looking usable switchblade. 8)
These are truly great reliable knives when manual ,but just icing on the cake when automatic and thats a nice neat looking conversion .
I would really love a 110 auto they just dont show up this side of the Atlantic.
I used to have a buck screaming eagle would have been a great conversion knife.

Great collection you are assembling there.

Have you seen the "Elite" versions on the Latama website? Nearly diamond encrusted!

Haha, just a lil', lol. I actually obtained this one last year. Cleaned it up and oiled, got her firing proper now! I always liked the Buck folder. Saw an auto version about 22 years ago at my barber shop this guy had. Never saw another until this one. Now of course I've seen the new version from Buck & those other conversions with the oval type firing button.

It's definitely a usable blade but it stays indoors with the others. Screaming, sounds sweet! And thank you, more to come, lol.

Me too Sammy. The others I've now seen are the oval shaped firing type. Whoever did this did it right!

That is one beautiful knife. Very reliable, sturdy and extremely well-made knife. I have one auto and a manual; I'll have to find photos to post.

Love that 110 conversion. I have a 110, a 112, a Case Mako; all lever comversions and a Case Sharktooth button that Muskrat man converted. The Sharktooth is my favorite because Caleb really did it perfect. http://s690.photobucket.com/user/hogwil ... .html?o=13
