Help in Identifying This "Italian"?

Post by Jay Blade »

This is a coil spring opener I picked up recently. Not sure about origin or maker. I think Italian? Any info would be apprectiated. It's about 8 3/4". Highly polished mirror finish serrated blade. A couple of bug bites, I think it may have been dropped. Nice snappy action. The backside is stamped 440-B Rostfrei with patent at base of blade.

It's a copy of the old GT series auto.
Probably Chinese.

If it's a knock off then they did a decent job on it.
Thanks Bill.
