Horster Rostfrei - Identify

Post by alparmer »

Not sure what I have. The only text is Horster Rostfrei. It was given to my ex-wife by her father and not sure how he got it. He was a Frenchman that collected all sorts of things.

Thanks in advance.

Horster was a German firm. You have a rebranded Italian knife made for sale in Germany in the 1970s.

Should have some worth. Looks to be in pretty good shape. You may get some offers for it from some of the members.

Is that why the blade appears to be shorter than normal? Because of the German blade length restrictions during that time period?

Nice stag auto. The blade does look shorter relative to German regulations. Horster made German bayonets, daggers and swords etc during WWII.
