Latama Switchbalde
Looking to find any information on this knife. When it was made or point me in the right direction. When I use Google all it pulls up are new ones for sale. Thank you for your time

You won't be finding any "new ones" of these for sale... this knife is from the 50's. nice find!

Luke is correct, it is great old picklock. The Latama stamp is highly desirable.

Do you know how to go about finding out more detailed info on this like what the handle is made of maybe exact year we only paid $52 USD from a pawn shop

Made between 1949-1954. Handle is cow horn. Made in Maniago, Italy for Latama.

The seller at the pawnshop I had no idea what he was selling. They gave it away. For any collector it's a keeper that's for sure. Or you could sell it and make a handsome profit.

Would it be better to leave as is or find someone to restore it.....it had an $80 tag on it but got it for $50
