Hi Elan, you should be getting a phone call today from Gloria.
dont hold your breath i myself have left them 6 emails and called their phone number and left messages 2 times and NO RESPONSE, you may be better off just asking a certain price and list it here in the buy/sell area it will save you alot of hassle and best of all no fees listing it here at talkblade. i too would like a shot at this knife but nobody at sd will anser me or reactivate my account so guess im out on bidding. well good luck with selling it
Gloria did call me and got me set up. Thanks for the help. metalgod, you shouldn't have to talk to her to bid, if you acct got closed, maybe try opening up a new one?
very strange this knife with super low bids maybe sharperdeals is NOT the best place to sell vintage autos anymore as in the hands of certain collectors this knife is easily a 3500 dollar knife ,love to see what it ends at, ive seen similiar knives go for insane amounts of cash . a collector named Scotty or orangeboy from sharperdeal forum wouldnt sell this knife for 600 or 700 dollars more like 2G , if im not mistaken i think scotty paid 3500 for exact same knife with same stamp.
Where do you suggest listing such a piece?? While the market is down a bit I think this knife will bring some good $ at the end of the auction ..... The UN-marked ones seem to draw a lot of interest these days as they were meant to be localy distributed in Italy, not like the thousands/millions that are stamped for export.

I think given the few times these knives come around to auction, This auction will help give a clearer definition of todays market value. I put it at no reserve because, frankly, whether it sells for $600 or $3500, I will be happy either way. It was an exciting find but it needs a collectors home. Its a bit fun for me though to see what happens.
Having said that, I would be surprised if the price didn't jump up at the end. The auction has had nearly 700 views as of today. It is the most viewed auction on sharperdeals by more than 2x! And the people that are bidding right now are going back to bid more. We'll see what happens!
And a quick thanks again to everyone for giving me the right direction on this knife.
