You'll probably get some offers here. Your probably close on what you can get for it and it's only illegal to sell it if you get caught.

Those were made in Japan for sale to tourists in Mexico and other places. Has never seen Italy no matter what it says on it lol ,the box is an extra added attraction too. These usually sell for way less than a hundred bux but there guys that just love them and we have seen some go for stupid money. As for legalities in the great state of Texas I think they are legal there but ya might wanna check on that. The best place to sell it is on this site in the buy and sell thread but you have to be an active member to do that, or even better sign up on the Sharperdeals auction site and list it there. There are fees on that site but way cheaper than ebay and they ( ebay) doesnr even aloow them to be sold there. Good luck with it.

Looks to be in great shape from the pics. With the original box, you should be able to get a buck fifty no problem. Redeye is right with the recommendations. There are plenty of Rizzuto fans out there.

Lol, the site where you saw that is not a reliable source of information, especially with the prices.

That is the standard model but it looks like it is in great shape. Japanese made, mid-60s- 80s. That box might be the original but it won't bring anything extra because it doesn't say Rizzuto on it or have the pic like most of the boxes do.

You should be happy if you get $75 but you could get more or you could get less.

When I lived in San Diego I use to always cross the border for knives. I had a bunch but they didn't last long. Cheaply made. Fire them a few dozen times and they start peaking out of the handle. I use to buy them for about $5 back in the 80s, I'm amazed that people still want them since they are really badly constructed. I still have a couple that I keep for sentimental value.

What amazes me is that someone paid over 3 million bucks for a little honus wagner baseball card that came in a cracker jack box or something. Honus Wagner??? who even remembers who that is? I've watched people pay thousands of dollars for cheap plastic toys that were a couple of dollars new so I guess it's all relative...75 or a hundred bucks for a rizzy doesn't seem so weird in comparison.

That's a "Rizzy" all right. It is worth about $75.00 to whoever wants to pay that much. They will wear out quickly and have sentimental/nostalgic value.

That's about it.

That's nice! It was my first auto in my early teens (lighter colored scales). Bought it in the bathroom of a roller-skating rink for $10. Was so glad to have it! Now, I know it's only poorly made, but the sentimental value (to me) means something. I'd be glad to get one again.

His last post was in Jan. 2017 so I'm sure the knife is gone.

...well, one thing's for sure. The newer members sure do dig deep into the older threads, which is a good thing! But, sure does throw me off thinking it's a new thread! lol
