High dollar items on BA

Post by mojorising »

Check out Blade Auction 718249, 718413.
Serious moola for some serious spring blades.
Must be nice to have that much cash laying around for knives.

I have bid as high as 1000.00 On some of the k-bar knives. There are some devoted collectors of that type of knife. As a set in my opinion not worth the price. The seller is a well known collector. Who has hit hard times. :(

Its sad, I dont doubt that the knives are highly valuable, but there are probably so few collectors willing to meet the price, worthy of it or not.

The knives are fairly rare, but the condition of each knife doesn't correspond to the high prices he's asking. If they were priced closer to what they are worth, you might see some action on them. Ken
No, I'm not happy to see you, that's my 12cm "Red Rose" in my pocket!
