Sheldon Levy

Post by Bill DeShivs »

I bring sad news. Sheldon Levy, publisher of the Automatic Knife Resource Guide and Newsletter during the 1990s has died.
Sheldon and his publication laid the groundwork for everything that is automatic knives today. "The Newsletter" helped legitimize switchblade collecting and consolidate collectors.

That is really sad news. I've heard only good things about him. He will be missed by everyone in the knife community. Copies of the Newsletter can still be found and latama.net is selling them too.

I was good friends with Sheldon. I received a snail mail letter from him around 2005. We have lost contact of each other but I can assure you he did not die in the 90's
