Question about the knife show this Sunday in Marlboro Ma.

Post by local413 »

I've been to the Mystic CT show last spring and made out well! Lots of great vendors and brought home a pile of knives for my collection..

I've got a question about this show.. Will there be any automatics? As CT laws allow (somewhat) the sales of autos.. But from what I can gather, Ma isn't as cool with "purchasing" them... Now i'm only interested in older pre-1990s knives.. Any New England collectors want to chime in? Thanks for the help!

Lock me up, I guess.. :)
Thankfully my backyard is literally in Enfield CT.. So I'll just move my safe into my shed.

But that's besides the point... I'm just asking about the show.

Scored one vintage switchblade, and a newer Frank B switch.. Not a bad show, tiny but worth the drive.. Hopped to have found more rizzutos for my collection, but no luck :(

Yes, they were. Not many to be had.. I even asked each vendor...

Anytime sir.

Save up for the spring show in Mystic CT.. Much better!

Anyone know of any other New England knife shows that are worth hitting? I'll take a ride up to NH or VT if it's decent.

The Mystic CT show is quite good. Maybe 60-75 vendors when I went a few years ago but the majority were quality. It is a really nice show.

Bzzzzt! Incorrect!

According to the interweb knife law breakdowns, not only are they not illegal, you can even carry them (if you have a Class A CCW)!

I've even had police officers come into my shop and sell them to me. They are completely OK but most, even the police, don't know it.

I went to the Mystic show last year. Nice show and lots of high quality knives, BUT very very high prices....Found some fake AKC items for sale too.
