Ken,

Thanks for the photo of such a legendary switch. It appears from the picture that the locking pin hole in the blade is open all the way to the side of the tang. Am I seeing this correctly?

You are correct. The entire mechanism is different from a traditional stiletto. Ken

Given its rarity, I suppose you have had offers so high that they had to be quoted in scientific notation.

I beleive you, i have an uncle in Boston and he has a couple of them, Not in the same shape your's is in..Nothing broken, but maybe a couple of days with Nemo...Maybe some brown nosing and they could be mine one day...

Mr. Autoknife, what kind of camera did you buy? I am in the market for one that will take good close-up shots like you posted. What is the camera megapixel count and what setting did you use for your cool switch pix? Thanks

If your uncle's knives are like Ken's (square button Latamas), you should insure that he is aware of just how rare and valuable they are.
