THEN , that would enclude any cane .
Depending on the officers and the judge, yep, pretty much.
But, they have specific wording that expressly calls out weighted canes and canes with ribbing or grooves such as yours.
Mr. Dark,

Here in the commie-marry-a-queer state, everything is illegal and everybody should be locked up according to the gajillion stoopid laws on the books. The problem is not enough space to house 35 million prisoners.

The gist? Most cops will overlook such minor details unless a crime has been committed.

Best regards,

Bonz

Pepper sprays with a longer spray range can protect you better than a spray that requires the attacker to be in close range. However, keep in mind that a longer spray range often means fewer shots overall.

In a foreign country, I carry a cane. Being of "a certain age" gives me a "pass" among Law Enforcement officers in places such as Tijuana. They tend to ignore 63-year-old men that look as if they're in their 50's and carry a black polymer cane cut to "walking length" (34" for me as I am 5' 7").

I carry it up under my left arm when I'm not leaning against it. The Veteran's Administration gave me an adjustable, aluminum cane that I leave at home. My "combat cane" is virtually ignored on the street. I put a nice black cane tip on the end and it blends right into the clothing I wear. I handle things with discretion and act decisively when necessary.

I'll go home at the end of my vacation, and not in a box.
