I thought it got siezed

Can anybody tell me why a package that Customs told me was siezed last week suddenly gets released 2 days ago? Seems peculier.

Mr. Phoenix,

Government efficiency?

Did you receive the package or just notice of release?

JerrBear,
I spoke to Customs last week, that's who told me it was seized for it's contense, the transport company called a week later and said it was released. I should receive it shortly. Customs said it would be about 3 weeks before I got the seizure notice. Kinda confusing.

As I've said before, customs held one of my shipments for two weeks, played with the knives, and broke the latches on the Herbertz gift boxes, and then sent them to me. Why didn't they keep them??????????????????

Mr. Phoenix,

Wow! That is a new one on me. They tell you that your shipment is seized, but that you will receive it anyway. My take is that you should be thankful, not many of us get both a seizure notice and our goods for the same shipment.

Vagrant & Phoenix,

Maybe the agents just had better examples of the items you ordered in their collections already and had no need for your merchandise.

Never listed as seized but tracking listed it as "Held by Customs" for two weeks. They obviously played with them during the two weeks.
