Alive and Well

Post by jim d, »

I'm sure many of you remember DareDev27 from the old forum. When I discovered the forum, he was one the first to welcome me and answer my elementary questions. While on vacation and walking along the beach it occurred to me that he had not posted in quite a while. Knowing that he is police officer, an avid collector and used to post often, well, you can imagine my train of thought. I am pleased to write that we corresponded and that he is doing fine and building his collection, but has just not posted recently.

Jim,
Thanx for the concern. After getting your e-mail, I had to read the forum. Looks like nothing much has changed-Mr. Wally, Vagrant, The Falcon etc. are still as funny as ever. Well, it feels good to be back. This time I think I'll stay.

Mr. Vagrant,
I've fished Toledo bend myself. In fact, I lost a 9" horn in the waters down there

The only thing I lost there was a six pack.
On the next attempt I discovered the old Yankee trick of of lowering one on rope to keep it cold [poor man's cooler] doesn't work that far South,
big difference in water temperature.

Animated Logo's

I see ye have been seduced by the desire for an animated
trademark. Just be careful, as the bit-o-geek candy, can
sometimes render the more addled a few additional IQ points.
It'd be a shame to reverse all those years of chemical ingestion,
wouldn't it? I'd miss yer comically obtuse prose.

Greetings, Mr. Gort-

Explain, please, my intergalactic ol' pal- do you infer that my new dizzy skull head may infuse extra smarties unto my confusion? My ol' pal Doofus Emeritus Exaltii fixed it up for me, but, now that I think of it there was somewhat of a sinister chuckle involved.
I certainly don't want to lose my edge as jerk by acquiring splashover wisdom from a damned spinning Wally head.

Mr. Corpse,

My, how did you achieve such a high gloss spit shine on the back of yer noggin? I'm surprised Mr. Gort could even notice, as he has that laser bouncing around in his brain bucket. I finally decided that the Bonz was getting too old to be Calvin and decided to expose my real self. As you know, nothing really bothers me alot, I mean, 'What' me worry?

Best Regard's,

Greetings, Mr. Doofus Emeritus-

That's not a spit shine, it's a sheet burn glossiness. If ya need to know, ask my personal physician, Dr. Yermazaho, who shall soon be logging in to diagnose our died-noses.
By the way, uh, what was the question?

Learning the process to animate and imbed, tends to impart
a certain amount of structure which can adjust the way
the permanently pixilated think. I believe however
the Doofus is likely immune, and since he was the creator,
my fears are assuaged.

Mr. Gort,

It's not the process to animate and embed that keeps me comfortably pixilated, but rather the art of swiping them from another site that gives me complete satisfaction. I have found out in life that I have an imunnity to many certain things, except for the strains of MaryJane rottoncrotch.

Greetings, Mr. Gort-

You're afraid of a sausage? I know how you feel. Sometimes croutons scare me, but only because they stick to my tooth.

Greetings, Mr. Doofus Emeritus-

Bought another self round of pus-filled trouser souvenirs, didja? Well, if Dr. Yermazaho isn't available to help you soon, his assistant, Nurse Kottenzipper is talented in the nether areas.

Just looking out for my ol' pals-

AS ever,
