Old Bayo Grind

Post by Snapdagger »

I stumbled across a Mauro Mario a while ago and it has an unusual grind on the bayonet blade. On both sides ( top and bottom) of the blade, the grind is at an angle instead of the usual 90 degrees. For you experts on oldies: can these knives be dated this way? Mr. Waya told me that he thought this one was from 1950-1952. Thanks newfound buds!

That's the way most of theM.M. knives were ground.
