Leverletto

Post by mikeknifenut »

Does anyone know what the difference in the second run of leverlettos will be that distinguishes it from the first. Also I seen a pic of one that had Bills name on the bottom bolster.I have one that the dealer at a knife show told me it was one of the first three that was fileworked.Bld,backspring and liner has filework.I was wondering how many were customized this way.The dealer told me it came from Angelo, but who knows.Any info would be appreciated...Mike

To my knowledge, no Leverlettos were fileworked from the factory, but the knife certainly did come from Angelo.
There will be a small copyright symbol added on the subsequent runs.
The knives with my name on the bolsters are prototypes.

He may have had the first 3 that were fileworked by someone, but not by the factory. My wife has the first production Leverletto.

Bill, the show I got mine at was Aug. 16th,seems like they had been out a while by then. What the dealer was telling me was he had the first three that were fileworked, two stag and one buffalo horn. The filework is very nice. Thanks for the info...Mike

DISTORTION, relax pal, Pushbutton was pulling our collective legs. These knives will likely sell anywhere from around 70 bucks all the way up to a hundred or so depending on the source. Well worth it even at the higher end in my opinion. Shiver.

Hi...first post here...

I followed a google link under a "leverletto" search. I've been collecting since I was 16 (about 16 years ago), and I have not been so excited about a single piece in a LONG time.

The pictures of the Leverletto just make me tingle all over. Great design, Bill - I can't wait to get my hands on one. :)

Great forum too, BTW - I just looked up at the clock and realized I've been reading for 2 hours. Sleep is overrated anyway.
