Those offers are an insult! Why don't you just send me the knife and I'll run over to Maniago and ask Vittorio Centa about the knife in person.
The only thing I take seriously in life is death but I haven't gotten there yet!

I own Thor 10 of 100 2007! I don´t think this error will add any value; it’s a very nice knife though.

Thank you, Mr. TMD. I'm wondering iff'n the whole 100 piece run is like that?TMD wrote: I own Thor 10 of 100 2007! I don´t think this error will add any value; it’s a very nice knife though.
Could you please to post a pic of yours for the boys?

Re: DUE BUOI Error
as i recall, and i may be wrong, there were, in 2007, 200 in stag, 100 in blonde, and 100 in dark buffalo. thus the reason for the different counts. as i recall the number sequence in each scale material might have been further segregated by the 3 different blade grinds. i hope this helps.
Re: DUE BUOI Error
I sold this one, the dark horn, over a year ago. Blade marking was THOR 8 of 200 2007. Hope you can make out the photo. It' the best one I have.
Re: DUE BUOI Error
Nice looking knives Gunner,it must have stung just a little to part with one of those beauts.
Whatever the case may be it is still interesting they would make one run with THORN and another without the "N"
It would really be interesting to know just how many knives (as individual companies) Due Buoi,Frank B,AKC,AB,AGA and Renzo have sold to the USA in the last decade.
My question is- But do they keep that kind of stuff on record?
I would love to know what just one company has sold to the USA.

Yes Viking, this is one I probably shouldn't have parted with. But I know where it went, and it has a good home. I don't want visitation rights, it's better this way. lol.

I think we have all sold one or two we regret. I have sold a few of my faves and it hurt.Gunner7 wrote:Yes Viking, this is one I probably shouldn't have parted with. But I know where it went, and it has a good home. I don't want visitation rights, it's better this way. lol.

Likely, when a part of that batch was engraved, they made a mistake programming the laser machine.

Hmmmm JerrBear. Look at the photo of the Due Buoi FOR SALE in the Buy/Sell forum. The post is dated a few days ago. Same "issue" as your knife.

huckles,
Check the dates of the earlier posts. Sadly, JerrBear passed away a few years ago.
