Food for thought...

Here is an example of bad taste. This guy really has a problem. I know some of you like him, and I'm not trying to sway anyone. I know of no "slandering" on TSF, or anywhere else.

Seriously, I dont know what the deal is and I dont wanna.
That is an odd way to make a sale tho.

I agree, there is no reason for this kind of behaviour. I never heard of anyone slandering Stu, here on TB or TSF.
Like mentioned by Benny, this is no way to make a sale. He kind of contradicts himself, since he sells alot of switchblades on BA, so i guess they are kind of important to him. :?

jeez, that's rather unfortunate.....i saw some of the threads concerning him over on TSF, but didn't read any "slander", only criticism over his sales techniques.....personally i have never bought off him, and never will, cause most of the knives he sells are cheap "rip off's", and it seems there is no line he won't cross to make a sale - aparently even alienating the very people who would be buyers.....

Stu is a good guy. What have they got against him on TSF?

he may be a good guy, but he's bringing a lot of heat towards himself and BA! in one of his last auctions, he stated that the auction winner would also recieve a bottle of his homemade chiante ((spelling?) wine i think)....he was also selling drug paraphenalia at one time too, which is even a no-no to josh, but he never saw it

also he has earned a reputation as a dealer of "clones" and that means "rip off" to alot of people...

personally i think he's funny, but bad for the knife biz, and collectors in general...just my opinion, no slander here...

Lets see,
He's hilarious
He has great prices
He has a huge assortment
He ships promptly [usually the same or next day]
He backs what he sells
He'll try to find almost anything for you
He answers his e-mail [I've had him answer at 4:00 am once or twice]
He frequently is the first to have something new
He may be annoyed by comments like "He'll be the death of our hobby".
[Is that slander? You decide!]
He has probably got more people started in switchblades than every member of any three forums you could name, combined
[What a way to kill our hobby]
I trust him to have my cc# on file
He trusts me enough to throw something new in a shipment and say "I'll charge your card when you sell it"
There's a slight possibility something on TSF annoyed him
Ever hear of TSF annoying anyone before?
Ever seen Stu annoyed before?
Who has the better average?
Defense rests

I've been one of Stu's critics on T.S.F. selling automatic knives with a bonus "bowl" on the side is not a good way to rep. our hobby. If your here Stu. KISS MY ASS. p.m. me if you have a problem Dickhead
