Best cleaner is WD-40. Over a decade ago on the SKM forum the same question was asked and one of the members said to use Tri Flow because it doesn't attract dirt or lint. I got some of it and have used it ever since for knives and everything else.

Gotta have lube because there is oxygen and dust acting at all times on steel. All that said, Latama Quick Release. I got a red Titan III OTF from Stu and every 6th or 7th fire the blade would hang. I tried 3-In-One oil because it helped out the other grey or gray Titan III OTF I own, also from Stu, but that did not improve the red. I found I needed to re-apply 3-in-one to a factor of 9-In-three but one or two applications of Quick Release and this red baby is firing very reliably - no misfires. Best. No question about it. Thanks!
