SAK Mikov

Post by tanto »

Hello all,

I have just got the first "SAK" Mikov with blade, saw, bottle opener/screwdriver and can opener. The handle is premium stag, there are teflon brushings (?) on pivot pin to make the opening faster. More pictures are on my web site in Special edition/autos. I hope to add this knife to my regular portfolio of available knives....

Beautiful scales there David. I can't wait to get my Custom one back from Nemo. Thanks for helping me get the kits and coin for inlay so he could make it.

Just in case you are sold out or they get out-bid on auction, they have one more chance. I suggest that people get these quickly. I think they will be VERY popular. I always wait too long and when I finally make up my mind it's usually too late. I hope others are smarter than I am.

Well I think the production of the "regular" multibladed versions will increase in near future. But the "SAK" Mikov as you can see here will probably never be produced by Mikov. It is quite difficult to assemble the knife with the main blade, saw and bottle opener on one pivot pin (and still be able to open the knife).... Mikov does not want to experiment much. I am glad they decided to make the new models finally....

Me too, Mikovs are really nice... if I could ask one question did they still make mikov knives during the reigin of the Soviet Union? Or was it controled by the state, or was it techinally shut down.

I love them but this is one Leverlock that I'd like to see them make a Left-handed model of.
