One option - buy a defect/bargain from Stu and take off the parts you need

Might try contacting some of the dealers off the "Good Ones List" and see if they will have a loose bolster put in with thier next order from their Italian supplier.

Where can i buy replacement parts for a stiletto?

Post by Bladerunner61 »

I have read a few of these posts and found that its not to common for a Stiletto spring to break. But unfortunately I have one of those!
Can someone direct me to the right location to find a replacement spring for my 9" FB Honey horn? I have been all over the net for days!!!
Plenty of coil springs out there but not so easy to find a broken stiletto spring. Appreciate the help!!

Besides maybe getting Frank to ship you one, here's the only dealer I know with any...

I would check with Stu to make sure these are from Frank B, because there may be small differences.

hi if your not sure or dont know how to get a new spring i may be able to get you one but just to let you know the new backspring and the blade you have will not match up very good as the blades are made to match the backsprings as if you took 10 stilettos apart and try swapping blades they will not work very good , 1 or 2 may work but will have loose blade in open position trust me ive been through this before, for all the trouble you will go through you can get a totally new knife fairly cheap. hope this helps in your decision.

I've got a box of assorted bolsters for all sizes of Italian stiletto's the problem is it's very unlikely the pivot pin hole would be drilled in the correct location as the knife you own same with back springs the lock tap is ground to fix the blade so the odds of finding one compatible to you blade is unlikely . these knives are hand made by various shops in Italy . that being said if you want I'd send you a small assortment for the 20cm/8" size free just pay shipping fee .
