Any others?
I'm think "It" might have had one.

5 year old post but this is also used in Planes Trains and Automobiles during the hotel break in scene.

Bond uses a switchblade in one scene of Spectre. The scene was too dark to tell what kind it was. He uses it as a tool instead of a weapon though which I thought was cool.

How do you guys tell the difference between an original Rizzuto and either a Taiwan or Korean clone?

In last night's showing of Somebody Up There Likes Me, starring Paul Newman as Rocky Graziano, a gravity knife makes its appearance early on.

I saw that Trap door episode before! I was in Venice in the 70s and they sold them on carts ( along with other switchblades) all over the place then!

Did Italian made "Rizzutos" ever have a lanyard bail? For some reason, when the Japanese copied the swing-guard pattern, they included a bail.

I present this question to those more learned than I.

Again I say, there are no Rizzuto clones, the Rizzuto is a clone of the Italian swing guard-Phil Rizzuto was a well known American baseball player, and the baseball loving Japanese picked his name to make the knives look Italian(really, just a guess)

For a while, there was a flood of Korean made(Bell) swing guards, and they found their way into movies and TV-one appears prominently in "Beverly Hills Cop" They were amazing knives, they would not break, were always razor sharp and opened with great force(NOT!). Movie magic.

Happy Holidays, friends!

Great movie in which Sutherland only uses his fists. Perhaps you are thinking of The Eye of the Needle.
