Coogan's Bluff(1968)- Clint goes into a huge New york City night club looking for a girl and when he finds her she is sitting with two thugs, one is called Mr. Wonderful and he pulls a non-auto stiletto lock back with a clip-style blade.
Clint breaks a bottle and puts the jagged end to the guy's face and says "Drop the blade or you won't believe what happens next...even while it's happening"

The Clint stabs the knife into the table.

Clint will always be the coolest 8)

The man was the late Albert Popwell, a costar in many Clint Eastwood movies.

I'm not sure whether this was a real weapon or just something they created for this movie, but it's definitely interesting looking. Eye of the Needle...

Right, and I think he and Clint were real life friends.

I watched the part where he opens the knife, could that be a buttonless bolster release?

Although there is a distinct clicking noise like you are supposed to think it's a switchblade, if you look in the first still below you can see that the knife is already open coming out of his boot...

They did the same trick in "They call me Bruce" with the Rizzi. Dubbed in the switch sound effect to a Rizzuto that was already opened, made to look "faster".

Striker, which looks like its probably one of the worst movies ever made  , has three switchblades in it. One of them is an otf knuckleduster with an extendable set of arms that turn it into a slingshot...

I saw a movie on TCM recently called The Sea Wolf. It had Gregory Peck and Roger Moore in it as well as a German spie that kept stabbing the British guys with an OTF. It was a 1980 movie and the OTF looked a little like a Concord, but it wasn't most likely. There was also a stiletto in it. The German spie was a good looking girl so naturally Moore stuck her with something periodically through the movie.

The Bond movie Live and Let Die has a stiletto scene early on where I guy pulls one on Bond (Roger Moore), then there was a OTF that kept popping up.

The Bond movie Moon Raker had one mid way through the movie when the girl pulled one out of her purse and was going to stab Jaws with it in an alley. A festival parade came through and broke it up.

Anybody seen/remember the above?

For a very early auto check out Cat and the Canary one of Bob Hope's first movie. Not really sure what kind it is. The movie is from the 1930's. I think Bob Hope's My Favorite Brunett has an old Colonial or Sharade. He had a long string of WW II films, it was in one of them. Early and mid 1940's.

Never a Dull Moment with Dick Van Dyke has one that is older. Has anyone seen that flix? It has an old swing guard, but not a rizzy. The blade is much wider and angels up and down on the dull side. The knife is a solid 9"er. It is a funny family type movie.
