Dan-os' first knife try

Post by Dan-o The Ritalin Kid »

Here is a medici style knife I modified. I made new liners with .05 brass, new solid bolsters and white micarta scales. I finally have a pic hosting site so here's the pics I promised a few months back.

Hey Dan-o,Thats really cool. You done a good job.I too have just started and have 2 locknives and a 25cm. fish with girraffe bone and a 9" picklock conversion with nickle silver bolsters and horn handles. Both with ivy filework.I have done about eight different ones so far.Four can be seen on tinys pics page.I am quite pleased with the progress on each one,but as they say, practice makes perfect and your medici looks close on perfect to me!Cheers the spotlight kid. :D

Hey Daniel,
My ancient monitor is quite fuzzy when it comes to picking up important minute details, so send me the knife RIGHT NOW and I'll able to evaluate it properly. Because of monetary shortcomings I won't be able to get it back to you until at least next April 10th or so. It appears to be of extremely high quality, but I will be the final judge. Get it in the mail IMMEDIATELY!!
If there's one thing I have learned, there's a lot of things I don't know.

Mr. Dan-O,

Be careful with ray, he still owes me for 2 SKM swings and 30 Rizzuto's :P

Hey BONZ,
I think you're right. The distortion is coming from the cigarette butt residue on these damn new coke bottle lenses! The knives I owe you are being packaged as we speak. I'm just waiting for Daniel's knife to get here so I can reuse the box.

Greetings, Mr. Dan-O-

Oh sure, trying to show me up with your craftsmanship, 'eh? I guess you weren't limited to tongue depressors, duct tape, toothpicks and pant buttons when you became a bladesmith, were ya'? I see how it is.
The knife in your computer generated re-touched photo looks very nice, but what's up with that sinister disappearing grinnie face under your popular machine gun tall hat guy?

All of this goes on your permanent Corpse record, by the way.

AS ever,

Your ol' pal,

Wally J. Corpse

It's so unfair that some people have talent.
