what's the difference between pearlex and acrylic

so what's the difference between pearlex and acrylic...or are they the same thing...I see several dealers use pearlex in their descritions, while AB/SKM says acrylic...

Pearlex seems to just be a generic name for fake pearl, no matter what it's made from.

Polycarbonate (I think this would be a tough material)

Nylon

Linen Phenolic
Canvas Phenolic
These are basically Micarta correct?

Nuclear bicarbonate will cause just about anything to warp!!!!!

Not very likely to warp unless you subject it to extreme weather conditions!

Tom..it will only warp at warp factor 5 unless soaked in nuclear bicarbonate of soda for 10 hrs.

There is no such thing as nuclear bicarbonate of soda (unless you were using some at area 51 during a nuke test and kept a little)! lol...guess I should not joke here huh? Somebody might go looking for some and get busted by Homeland security.
