I just received my first package of replacement Mikov springs from David. Yikes!
Naturally, the first thing I did was remove the singular leaf spring I had from my test mule and replace it with the newer style double springs.
Then I fired it!
The knife almost flew out of my hand! I had no idea that the simple idea of changing out springs could enhance the action as much as it did.
Do any of you know why this simple change results in the increased performance? Is it the spring steel used? The HT process, the alloy?
The one good thing about the singular leaf spring is that I can carry it in my wallet or on my bike somewhere for an immediate change out in the case of breakage or damage.
The Czech was in the mail...
