Re: WHAT DO YOU KNOW
That was a Dalton that really got my interest. I seem to recall around $160.00
There's a web site offering it for $189.00 now, assuming they have it in stock. Did a yahoo search.

Re: WHAT DO YOU KNOW
Is this a coil or leaf spring action & what is netting
Re: WHAT DO YOU KNOW
It is a coil spring. I think I paid about $140 five or so years ago when they were freely available from several sources. That is no longer the case and I have to wonder if the referenced website has any in stock. There are websites that list items that haven't been in stock for years because they are out of production but continue to post the price that was in effect when they sold out.

Re: WHAT DO YOU KNOW
Coil spring - Netting is the [traditional] net-like tube that all Daltons shipped in [much like the stuff that some machine tool cutters are shipped in]

Re: WHAT DO YOU KNOW
it was a must have for me; I just out waited the gottahavits. I would still like one; I'm just basically not buying but 1 knife a year now. You know the wife excuse. I can't justify the many I already have. And trading knives that I really like for other knives I like is just too painful.
